Myself, Anita and my husband have a small stable based in Lancashire, England and love living our lives with horses.

I have been involved in horses since the age of five. I used to muck out and groom at a local stables just for the love of the horse and hopefully a ride on one of these beautiful animals.

In 1978 I was lucky enough to own my own pony. My parents could see the genuine love I had and decided to buy my first pony!

His name was "Jester", he was a 7 year old 14.1 hds dark bay fell cross, what a fantastic pony he was, we won many handy pony, showing jumping and cross country classes, a superb all rounder - What a team!

I then progressed to point to point and hunter chase racing. This was a fantastic part of my life and one I will never forget.

After losing Mariner in 1993 I decided to have a break from horses but they have always remained in my blood until 2007 when I could no longer contain my genuine love for the "Thoroughbred/Sports Horse"!

Mariner's Lad had a huge part in my life both for horses and the birth of "Marinita German Shepherd Dogs"
